Our May Call Handling Hero® award goes to Dena! She went beyond what was expected in handling this call in order to assist the caller.
A woman calling an after hours church emergency line needed shelter for her and her family. Houston operator Dena could hear her children in the background getting restless so she took to internet to search and refer her to several shelters and food banks that might be able to immediately give aid. She then made sure to patch the caller through to the church's voicemail so the caller could also leave a message. Dena's empathy and going the extra mile for a person in need earned her our Call Handling Hero® award for May 2019!
