For nearly 50 years, A Better Answer has been 100% female owned and operated — a Certified Minority Owned Business. Each of A Better Answer’s regional offices (Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston) have been and continue to serve their local communities with the latest technology and most creative professional call handling techniques. ABA has been aggressive in its approach to customizing our services to fit our clients´ needs. In an effort to accomplish these goals, ABA continues to update our major telephone equipment and software in order to respond to the ever-changing demands of our clients needs. In the beginning, ABA took messages by hand and kept track of who was on call, when to call and clients to be reached. Now, ABA answers live calls on the Internet and organizes messaging on computers. ABA also writes elaborate formulas to compute quantity discounts, shipping and handling, ordering, dealer locates and customer service responses to technical questions. We compile custom reports for clients and deliver messages, information or reports by voicemail, fax, email or text. Basically, when clients have questions or need help, we are there. 

Our CEO/President

Owner and CEO Dee Hawkins’ business insight and leadership capabilities have ATSI highest and one-time-only award, the Miss Emily, for professionalism and courtesy. Because of her leadership, The Dallas Business Journal awarded her The Women in Business Award and all ABA offices are 20-year recipients of The Award of Excellence, an industry specific monitoring program.

Our Charities

Giving back to our communities has always been very important to A Better Answer. Throughout the year, ABA holds various fundraisers that go towards our two main charities: Habitat for Humanity and BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse). Our ‘Dollars for Denim’ is our favorite among all three offices. Dress code is always business casual Monday through Thursday, but we will accept a $1 donation for a dress-down jeans day! Also, at Christmas time, we host Santa in his sleigh! We welcome everyone in our community to bring their families to meet and take photos with Santa and the many donations to our charities.
