Forty-two years ago Dee Hawkins started a multi-million dollar business in Texas. A one "gal" office with 12 customers expanded to multiple locations and her own building. With a dedicated and loyal staff, Dee operates the most award-winning call center in the U.S. and Canada.
Dee has now been recognized by the eWomenNetwork Foundation with a 2014 Femtor Lifetime Achievement Award.
The term Femtor means "a wise and trusted woman providing knowledge, inspiration and practical information to other women." Femtor acknowledges the mentoring work done from a female experience and knowledge base. These experienced women seek out ways to teach, share their wisdom and help other women find their wings.
Current research shows that only 2% of women owned businesses generate revenues of $1 million or more annually. This award recognizes “an outstanding eWomenNetwork member who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and business skills in the course of starting and growing her company.”
What does it mean to be an International Femtor® Award winner?
This prestigious international honor is awarded to women who have proven themselves to be exemplary role models in the world of business. This award acknowledges Dee’s outstanding achievements, skills, positive "can do" attitude and commitment to giving back to her community.

The eWomenNetwork Foundation
The heart of eWomenNetwork is the eWomenNetwork Foundation, a 501(c)(3) created soon after the start of eWomenNetwork, Inc. Through this non-profit organization, the eWomenNetwork is able to build upon the philosophy that "it takes teamwork to make the dream work" and extend its reach to those who need it most.
Through their International Femtor Awards program, 140 scholarships have been given to "Emerging Leaders" who, at a young age, have already demonstrated outstanding leadership and a commitment to serving others and special recognition awards to those women who have been exemplars of the "lift as you climb" philosophy of giving back.
